About our second grade class:

Some things to know about our marvelous class is that we put our largest focus on our Responsibilities, Respect, and Honesty! Here at Eastpointe Elementary School, we take pride in our truthfulness, along with the respect and foremost responsibilities we have along with it. Making sure our students have the best academic understanding and momentum to get ready for the Third Grade year ahead of them! At the beginning of the year, I always let my students know how much I look forward to learning about their backgrounds and home life, because not only does it interest me, but I learn so much about them and students have a much more comfortable space when they feel welcomed.

My job as their teacher is not only to make them feel welcomed but to have them comfy enough that they love coming into school the next day, ready to learn more! I want to inspire my students, and have their creativity flow in my classroom, while still understanding and following moderate class rules, of course. The main objective to me as a teacher, though, is the impact that I've not only made as an educator but a superior and adult that my students look up to me as! I want them to succeed in anything they put their minds to, and with a little courage and a lot of love, they can do amazing things.  smiley

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
William Arthur Ward
